this is my first post here, so please have some mercy if I missed something or this isn’t lease worthy 
:
I saw recently an ad from Autonation Honda Fremont about the following Lease on a new Honda Accord '18 LX: https://cdn-ds.com/media/686/w_1920/sz_89838/2018_Honda_Accord_LX-NoCal05042018.jpg .
It’s basically 999$ down + 199$/month (+taxes and fess) for a 36 / 12 lease which is the best Accord deal I’ve seen so far. (even though we all know that Accord deals in general are not thaaat great).
The ad appears on this page as a banner after some time https://shop.autonationhondafremont.com/
I’m assuming below the tax rate of San Francisco, because that’s where I live and the counties here have all different rates.
**Monthly Payment: $199 + tax (=215.92$ incl. 8.5% tax)
**Down Payment: $999 + tax (=1,083.92$ incl. 8.5% tax)
Total payments over 36 months (incl. 8.5% tax, excl. registration): 35 * 215.92 + 1083.92$ = 8,641.12$
I’m not 100% sure if the dealer will try to add fees etc. on top of the advertised price, but if it was me it’d insist on the ad’s 999$ having this already included (the ad only mentions govt fees and taxes are not included - dealership fees are not government fees).

Let me know what you guys think. Personally I’m only considering to lease (or purchase) the EX-L or Touring, not LX, so won’t be able to take that deal directly if at all.
