C300 vs 320i - Which would you prefer if same cost

Getting quotes for a 2017 C300 loaner (panorama, blind spot assist) and a 2017 320i loaner (premium package, blind spot) that are roughly the same once I include shipping costs for the BMW. Trying to close out fast.

Which would you prefer? I am on the fence to be honest and curious on your thoughts. Would appreciate any feedback to help me make this decision.

Check out DrivenCarReviews on YouTube. Out of everyone on there, I like his the most. Personally, I would get the Benz just because of the panoramic sunroof, but that is also a huge selling feature for me.

I prefer MB over the BMW

The c300 for sure. If the BMW was a 330i the decision is a lot harder.

Definitely the MB. I think the 320i is only worth it if you get the “Jalopnik” special

BMW puts their base engine that makes 180 bhp in the 320i. The C300 has a turbo charged 2.0 engine that makes 241 bhp. If that matters then that itself (at the same price)should swing the decision in the MB’s favor. Also, the panoramic sunroof should make the cabin feel quite airy and open.

In this case I’ll take the C300, a lot more features and more horsepower too!
320i felt slow and under power(feel like driving a Camry, 4 cylinder model), plus no power-folding-mirror (both 330i, 340i has it standard),<---- that’s a no in my book for a luxury car.

Interested to know if C300 vs 330 given same monthly pay.(Suppose MB also covers maintaince?)

No, MB doesn’t come with maintenance, you will need to purchase the prepaid plan separately.
BMW does. but only 3 years or 36,000 miles.

I’d take the C over the 3 any day of the week.

I would rather drive a BOLT than those entry level cheap skates that scream wannabe

I just picked up my 24/10 C300 loaner for $280 a month with taxes $0 down and i like it a lot. Infotainment UI sucks though.

Mb no questions asked. Have a mb now and had a 3 series a year ago.

MB still allows MSDs, so instant $40/off compared to BMW. Interior nice on MB, except for that silly iPad screen sitting on top of dash. Lower console in the BMW, so if there are size constraints the BMW felt more comfortable. [But for me, they both were impossible to get in and out of, the c300 every time I fall in the vehicle, my right knee would slam into this piece of plastic on the console causing me to scream at the vehicle].

I wouldn’t even consider MB for the $600 dispo fee unless I planned to stay with MB for a few cars…it’s a total rip

I test drove 330i, 320i, and C300 last month. I would take 330i or C300 over 320i any day. The acceleration of 320i is significantly slower than 330i and C300 and it doesn’t feel luxury.

you havent mentioned the price you are getting both these cars for. Just incase youre paying close to 300, i personally would rather get a S90, Q50 or seomthing else which is better equipped. I just cant deal with the fact that both cars mentioned lack the basics of a luxury car. Both dont have standard LEDs, the Bmw 320 i think doesnt even have rear view camera.

i just had a 320 loaner car, it def had a rear view camera

2017 or 2018 ? Again im not sure but a friend has the 2015 and it doesnt. Also i just read the other thread here of the X1 loaner deal and guys has mentioned on his 2017 no camera as well.
To me that’s a shame for a luxury automobile manufacturer to not offer.

Rear view camera is not a standard feature for 2017’s 320i and X1. It’s part of the driver assistance package. It’s such a shame because even my friend’s 2013 Civic has a back up camera. The government requires all new cars must include back up camera as standard by May 2018. I’m guessing that’s the reason BMW has finally put back up camera as standard in all the 2018 models.
