According to edmunds, your money factor may be marked up from 0.00108. You may want to ask the dude over there for your base money factor in CA. Residual looks right. And why not MSDs? $2500 in MSDs is better than $2500 down because you’ll get that cash back in 3 years.
How come you’re putting down $2500 and the cap cost reduction is $1488.63? There’s no incentives on the vehicle right now? And you’re right about the $795 acquisition.
Also I gotta put in a plug for the Lexus ES350 (white with gray interior) which I just got vs the C class. It’s a hidden gem that is great to promote that I didn’t want to do with my old mercedes. It has 268HP 0-60 in 5.8 secs. However, handling wise it’s still a lexus. They tried to make the steering really really light you can use 1 finger to turn the steering but the turning radius is still higher than I would like (18.7′ vs C’s 17.65’) Don’t get your dad’s flaccid/flaxseed color or parchment. The gray interior you gotta take a look at and it doesn’t have that stupid glued on tablet in the center. You’re gunna get a much more comfortable car with more tech for less cost.
I will ask about the MF. So I should put 0 down and 2500 in MSDs right?
Idk I asked him for the best deal he could give me and this is what he gave me. What should the cap cost reduction should be? It should be way lower right? and yeah he didnt say anything about incentives at all
But roughly how much do you think I should be paying for a c class? I just love the red interior and night package on the c class sedan! I feel like the prices they are giving me are high. What is your advice
hahaha i literally was in the same position as you 3 years ago when i got a Red 2014 c class. They can make your payments whatever you want by extending the term of the lease and i got fucked.
Without incentives, it may not be the right time to get the car. I can’t find any details on how much discount you get with recent grad programs either.
I’m guessing from the residual its going to be for 10k?
Yeah man I have a cla right now and they destroyed me. I am paying 417 a month for 10k miles lol. My lease is almost up so I am trying to get a good deal on the c300
I know you don’t want to hear it, but take a look at the ES. I think it will surprise you as a hidden gem and there’s like ~5k in incentives right now. (PM me for a PGA certificate for 1k). Money factor is .0002 before MSDs. It’s an ok upgrade from the C (the ES is FWD but makes up for it in luxury) and a HUGE upgrade from a CLA. At least you can concentrate in the quiet interior lol.
If you really want to stick with a C, using the calculator, I get $432 or $438 if recent grad is only $500. That is your max.
I put MSRP:
$49450, sale price $42771.18,
untaxed incentives $1000/$500 for recent grad.
Down payment $1475 to get a $2500 drive off.
acquisition $795
60% residual,
MF .00107
Document: 80
License: 400
Sales Tax: 7.5%
If I get a lexus, I think I would get an is250 white with red interior. How much a month do you think I could get that for?
okay I will take that to the dealer and let me see what they say! I appreciate your help man. People in this forum get c300 for so cheap though its crazy. I thought i could get it for around 420 a month.
Call them out on their BS with the MF and the acquisition cost. Then ask for $420. Tell them that’s what you got from your math. Then take those numbers to another dealer and ask them to beat it.
