As most of us, I am getting crazy offers on our 2019 SE Tiguan. It has about 20k on the buyout (for me) but I have offers of 27500. One of those offers is from a VW Dealer.
Does VW Credit allow a payout to a VW dealer for the same price as the lessee? I know for third parties like Carmax and vroom for example they offer a much inflated payout quote…
Yes. You should be able to maximize your equity at a VW or Audi dealer.
VW dealer and I think a couple other 3rd parties that have VW dealer network…
I also have a 19 SE tig and getting pretty much the same offers as yours…
Yes. The only difference will be if you put MSDs down on the lease or not and how your state handles taxes. If you did MSDs, your buyout will include them, giving a lower number. The dealer’s number will not, but you’ll get them back separately from VW Credit. Also, if your buyout includes taxes, their buyout will not.
