I don’t think the other poster is judging you. Have you looked at the price of an extended warranty?
Have you been able to verify that it is in fact required to use a Dealer in Illinois? Just this week I downloaded the paperwork from BMW Financial and mailed a check from my credit union. If you pay cash (or can secure a loan with cash) BMW will send you the Title.
Keep in mind I am in New York.

Me too! And I’ve done this before, smh…
Got it done! Went to a different dealer, quick and easy. No BS “state required inspection” or fees. They emailed us the required payoff paperwork, we secured our own financing, walked in with our check and signed. Oh,
and we took an iX for a spin. Thank you Bill Jacobs BMW!
