If you have observed questionable business activities or received business solicitation from unregistered businesses (people who aren’t in the @dealer, @brokers, or @service group) via private messages, please PM @admins and @trusted_hackrs.
@DMVLease will be joining @AutoCompanion’s team on a 3-month trial basis. There will be a period of time (through September) where @DMVLease will be active to close out existing leads, etc., after which time the @DMVLease account will sunset and she will post solely on @AutoCompanion.
@thecardude has been suspended for brokering deals for a fee without registering, including posting in “Share A Deal” under burner account @jmdcars and replying to himself as @thecardude.
Previous business member @DistrictCars has been suspended for soliciting users for dealer info under burner account @pabloescocar, violating both Marketplace Guidelines (using LH for commercial purposes without registering) and Community Standards (posing as someone else).
@TLin has been suspended for knowingly soliciting business without registration.
@Greg_Sinanyan and @AlexMagnit suspended for soliciting business without registration.

@SOS_Auto_Lease @EZ_BROKER @Samikabbani are the same user who solicited businesses without business registration despite the community’s repeated request for him to do so. All accounts are suspended.

The user poses as a regular shopper who got a good deal then provides a phone number to a broker named EZBroker via PM. Please beware of such behavior and report them to us.

Please report any unregistered member who asks for money via cash app in exchange of “a deal”. Always be mindful when interacting with internet strangers.

Our business registration process exists to maintain accountability and protect community members. It works to enhance transparency, ensure community oversight, and prevent fraudulent operators from exploiting unsuspecting users.
Please report any unregistered users requesting payments to @community_moderators, even if you’re considering working with them.
We strongly advise against transferring money via cash apps to unregistered operators. Many operate in violation of state laws, leaving you without legal protection. Always do your due diligence on and off this platform.
