Brokers, I have some questions about software

I have a couple of questions regarding the use of software as brokers. I wanted to get some feedback as I feel there might be some room for innovation.

  1. Why do so many car brokers use google sheets to list their pre-negotiated deals? Why not list them on a website? If there was software that automatically took the data from a google sheet and then added it to your website, would that be useful?

  2. I see there are many CRM’s that are targeted towards dealerships, and I’d image many of you use these for brokering deals. Is there any issues/problems or missing features that could better cater towards the car brokering side of things.

  3. How do you maintain your pre-negotiated lease deals list to ensure deals are still valid and the car has not been sold. Could marking deals for review be useful here?

  4. Do you do any follow ups to check on the client, or tracking of the client to see when their lease expires (To call them on getting a new car). Could software to track this be useful?

  5. If your brokering firm manages multiple agents, how do you go about tracking their individual performance?

  6. What task or processes do you go through that you believe can be automated or solved via software?

  7. What features on software would you see that would make you consider switching/adopting new software?

Any and all feedback is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Just to be clear, it sounds like you’re asking about CRM and Marketing, not Desking (which has been most of the past discussion on this topic)?

Sounds more like a presales email there

Yes, I am trying to avoid desking. That is quite complicated and tricky software. Just everything else, which when I think about brokering deals, I feel as though CRM software covers most of what a broker would want to track.
