Broker Experience - Attitude Problems?

Really? That statement is just silly.

Oh and by the way some of us aren’t even brokers. I have a store to run on top of giving out numbers here and getting people approved/delivering cars to people’s homes. If you want to just kick tires I send them to the most patient man I know @aronchi

I know my customers hate it when I am generally polite/pleasant on the phone.

But you’re not in the NE. Or are you???

I don’t consider that underhanded. If there isn’t a broker who works in your area, what else are you supposed to do?

OP you are special and you are loved.

I get why brokers have to show the best possible numbers. Especially these days. But you can simply adjust the calculators to fit your situation?

I have not used brokers on here, but have talked to some in my community. In general they seem really busy. So if you are looking for someone nicer or more hands on - find another one. You are paying them good money for a service. If they can’t deliver then move on.

OP it sounds like you need a broker who you can pay on retainer to structure a deal for you based on your specific needs and source the car. I find that people in this business tend to be responsive and or nicer when their time is valued aka paid for or with assurance of a deal.

I thought so, too, but i never took his phone call. He said he spoke with someone.

So there must be two brokers with attitude problems

The mystery deepens

Someone created an @aronchi deep fake

I have used 3 I here. I had great success with one and have closed two deals with them and was shocked by the lack of a basic level of customer service by the other two. I guess if they have that much business more power to them…

It is a free market- if you do not like a business go to the next. I can only imagine the tire kickers and un realestic expectations a high volume broker deals with on a daily basis. On top of finding the deals these guys also need to decide on who their customers will be. They can’t take on everyone- if the vibe is off or someone is not ready to go they need to move on. Time is money to them just like any other business on the planet.

While I try to get back to everyone, this is a big part of it.

If you text me “got any iX deals?” while I have a literal spreadsheet with every single iX I have with a calculator posted, you’re probably going to take a back seat to people who are inquiring that have given me more info or asked a specific question. I’m not saying I won’t answer, but like any business with inbound leads, I have to decide who to prioritize. I don’t mind hand holding, I’m happy to earn my fee, but if theres 15-20+ leads in a day, the ones who don’t need it are going to get the attention first.
