Body Shop in New Jersey

Anyone know of any good body shops for collision work in Northern New Jersey? Thanks!

If you’re game for the Somerset area (I suppose it’s central-north-ish), I’d recommend you check out Bridgewater Collision Repair.

Berns and team have done a masterful job with some MBs/Jags/BMWs for us and routinely do work for the local dealers, so I’ve got no issues recommending them. They have a good relationship with the local adjusters too, so they usually get in to take a look pretty quick (I can speak to Geico and a few different small biz insurers).

OEMs have their own Collision centers as well (That usually aren’t in the dealership). Since you didn’t say which one, I can’t point you to an authorized one.

You are also not required to use an OEM collision center to repair a lease. Any licensed facility can repair a vehicle provided the lease is returned to OEM spec. I know a guy that I went to high school with 25 years ago who has his own shop that I’d trust more than the local OEM.

Never said I did, just threw it out there for OP to know.
Some people like those kind of things especially when they don’t have a bodyshop ‘friend’ they can trust.

I’m going to assume since he asked for a pretty broad referral, he doesn’t care who fixes it.
