Considering doing a 2027 custom order for the first time, as not seeing much 2026 inventory that matches my wants. Current lease is due in July. Is now a good time to put in an order? What should I be looking for in terms of MSRP reduction before incentives?
Dragging my feet as thinking of going 40i but unsure if I will miss/regret not having DHP or DAPP.
Wait till August / September’s for programs to improve. 2026 inventory has to deplete first. DAPP is a must if you have a lot of highway driving. If u cant bump up to M60i, then grab a 2026 40i which has these.
Lot of brokers in TX so check out their deals…X7 made in US so generally 2-3 months from order to delivery depending on your allocation production week.

2026 inventory is already pretty thin. Some of our dealerships are already sold out.
It depends on if @twoshoes’s lease is extendable or not too, obviously.
I got mine as a custom order through IAC - we ordered it in Oct '25 and the car arrived first week of November. Just a data point for you to think about.
