BMW X3 xDrive30i

, ,

Just got this deal from a dealer…

2021 BMW X3 xDrive30i:
MSRP: $49,960
Selling Price:$43,963 (consists of $3,497 discount and $2500 cash rebate)

A dealer just gave me the offer above for a purchase. It effectively equals a 12% discount to MSRP. Given the market we are in, good deal?

Is this pre-incentive price? If it is, it does looks good on surface…what are the financial terms? Also what region is it for?

It’s somewhere between 5 and 7% pre-incentive. Doesn’t look that good.

Yes, My “looks good on surface” comment was qualified with “if it is pre-incentives”

I effectively got a 18% new discount on my 5 series if you calculate it that way

To properly evaluate a deal you need the pre incentives discount percent.

It is 7% off MSRP plus the $2500 cash rebate if I finance (which I will do a portion of).

I am based in PA - if that doesn’t look like a good deal, anyone know any dealers who could beat this?

I decided to pay cash & finance this purchase vs doing a lease (for various reasons).

Did you recently get the 5 series. I’m in market and would appreciate any leads/tips/ dealer/broker contact.

Go to the marketplace subforum and use the filters ‘ca’ and ‘bmw’

I’m trying to evaluate a deal as well on a X3 xDrive30i and I am having trouble sorting whether it is good. Can you please help?

MSRP: $53,900
Sell price: $47,860 (includes 5k discount + 1k rebate)
Down: 0 (or just the walk off price)
Monthly (including tax): $646.23
Mileage: 12k

That’s not what your calculator shows.

Anyway effectively $650+ sounds like a lot for a 2.0 X3 with a medium level of options.

The residual of 56% incorrect for 12k (it’s the 10k one)
I am also assuming the dealer and reg. fees need to be adjusted to real numbers not calculator defaults.
Is this for a 21 or 22 model?
The dealer discount is actually solid vs market. But you need to have the correct numbers on there.

But discount only gets them so far. They either need to look at other makes/models that have better programs, or use more levers on a BMW like MSD, OL, etc.

Without a lot of levers like the aforementioned plus Loyalty, College Grad, etc BMW leases haven’t been compelling for a year now.

Yes you’re right and I am in that boat right now. Needing a car and preferring to stay loyal to BMW…but it’s not adding up.
