BMW X3 swap out

, ,

In the past week my BMW dealership has been bugging me for the past week and asked to purchase my X3 M40 to get me in a new X3 M50. I was interested to see what deal they came back with.. Here’s what they sent me… They trying to rake me over the coals here?? I paid more for mine now because I basically custom ordered the car and there weren’t any 23’ m40i’s on any lots sitting. So I just bucked up and put the money down to get what I wanted.

That might just be what new X3 M50’s are going for right now in isolation.

What are they offering you for your current X3, and what is the payoff?

This is called marketing and you are allowed to ignore it and keep driving your x3. Tell them you like your moonroof that opens.

$48,174.59 is the payoff currently. I would imagine I’ll have to wait till my lease is over next year when there will hopefully be more M50’s on lots and maybe even some executive demos.

In the past week the dealer sent similar offers to you and 50 other people who leased new BMW’s from them during the same month who just popped up in their CRM system as someone with a lease expiring in 12 mos.

And regardless of the deal you do realize that trading your X3 for a new X3 means you’d have to drive a new X3 right? Have you seen a new X3? :face_vomiting: It’s no wonder the dealer is probably looking for nice used examples of the old bodystyle to put on their lot.

This thread needs new content. Please contribute to my landfills. @z0lt3c used to move stuff in there but he’s too lazy now.

Tell them you can do a straight swap with no down payment. Otherwise enjoy your better looking car for another 12 months.

Very true, not a fan of this new body style. I’ve been considering moving to the GLC 43.
