Looking to lease a 2019 BMW X3. Was really wanting the x5 but the lease right now is not aggressive in California. Anyone getting good deal on those lately? Here is the quote I got on an x3 xdrive30i
If Xdrive30i - How did they get to $54.7K MSRP?
A good deal determination is subjective and also depends on the region.
To my opinion only, Xdrive30i without a golden steering wheel should cost you up to $450-$460/mo with $0 down (or only first month DAS).
The lower you get, the better your deal.
Your offer might be mistaken for an X5 - at least this is how it looks like.
Do you mean it’s not realistic to price X3 (not MB40i) for $54K?
Otherwise, I agree. For a $54K car it’s not. But also $5K down + $518/mo + tax not realistic for a $54K car.
Anyways, to my opinion the offer is not good enough - I need to understand how they got to $54K for X3.
Prices are really not surprising - to get a well equipped car in the segment 50/55k is the norm. Whether it’s an X3, Q5, XC60, GLC even Infiniti QX50 - I guess the ones that are more car for the money are the RDX and Lexus NH.
Considering how germans price their vehicles you will always end up above 50k for having them optioned.
As for X3’s they are not leasing terribly well right now in my neck of the woods. I wasn’t remotely close to getting to the 1% rule on a 53k car thus went for Volvo.
As for OP’s discount on MSRP it is actually pretty solid at 12.5%…Poor incentives and that high BMW MF kill the overall price. Try to get an OL code from their march event that could add another 1000$ discount to the price; or better yet, hold off on that lease if you can. I am seeing a growing X3 inventory in my area.
Also limit your drive-offs to the taxes and fees etc…never put such a high down.
Agreed. $54k for an xDrive30i is actually pretty reasonable (they top out over $60k), and the $518 plus tax, while not a great deal, is a decent deal. But $5k drive-off is pretty high.
I am about to sign a deal almost same as yours.
MSRP $54349 (I wanted almost every option like driving assistance plus) most lease hacker deals are basic option cars.
Selling Price $47384 (about 14.7% discount)
Credit $1250 lease credit & conquest
Monthly $550
DAS $2392 (and 7 MSD)
I did lower MF with MSD, you could also save another $1000. if then I think it’s good deal for now.
I think you’re deal is much better than OPs because you’re utilizing your cash due at signing for MSDs while it looks as if his deal is just cap cost reduction and fees. Your effective payment is much lower than OPs.
