I would also have to say a big no. Even though it may be costly to repair rashed rims/tires my experience has been that unless excessive, it is considered ‘ordinary wear and tear’ and the cost of the warranty is not worth it.
I did the ultimate care plus for brake jobs on an x7. Already did two brake jobs in 2.5 years so it was well worth it for me. Not sure for x3 since it’s not as heavy. If you use automated cruise control that can eat up brakes. Wheel and tire pack not so much
