Hello, I got a payoff letter from BMW. When I’m selling to service like ALGO, Carvana, Carmax, or any of the other ones, do I deduct the sales tax portion? Would it reduce my payoff by the 2,xxx

Most likely. However, you will need the dealer to get their payoff directly from BMWFS. You will have to do a 3 way call as BMW won’t send it to the dealer unless you are on the line and give permission. I just sold my X2 to Carmax and the dealer payoff was just the RV of the vehicle as I had no lease payments remaining.
