[BMW] OL codes on loaners?

Hi All,

Has there been a recent change in BMW accepting OL codes on loaners?
I saw from posted deals on LH that people where able to use them as recently as few weeks back, but I am being told by local dealerships that OL don’t work on loaners (anymore).

Thanks

Have heard of chargebacks on loaners before…but…

They are giving me the code for my loaner.

Does it mean they are not accepting OL code
Heard same from dealer I am dealing with for Loaner

Don’t see why they wouldn’t but they may just be erring on the side of caution.

OL Code is valid for any new/loaner less than 5,000 miles.

That’s what my understanding as well
Loaner is 4000s still not honoring for some reason

I already negotiated sale price. Could it be one reason for not honoring

It’s $500 dealer contribution plus $500 from BMW.

Probably telling you that because they don’t want to come another $500 off the selling price.

I think so if there is a dealer contribution in it

If I pick up an OL code from the UDE in NYC, can I use that at any BMW dealer in country?

some have had success others haven’t, I used a socal code in a md dealership and they didn’t say anything.

Should work without issue.

Are they still excluded from the X7?

Yes.

OL Code is NOT valid on 2019-2020 BMW X7, 8 Series, M2 (All variants), M5 (All variants) and MINI.

Ugh, No OL, no conquest, nothing… That is still a real tough one to hack.

Still new addition to the segment, and is selling well (at least at my location)

Might have something to look forward to in December.

Yea, my MB lease isn’t up until December 31st, so that’s my hope. Maybe they’ll throw a small incentive on it to push out the balance of the 19s.

At least put conquest or anything.

Sales def have declined after the must haves got theirs.

Last 2 months weren’t as good as the first 4:

Good thing about it being over in December is you can still extend if you don’t find anything you like.

2020’s are already here.

Maybe try on any remaining 19’s that are in inventory.

Does anyone have any insight if there are any changes for OL code use on demos? Dealer i’m working with is saying it can’t be done. Reading above i’m assuming they just don’t want to honor and it’s case by case basis

As above, if discount already very deep, they won’t want to knock off another $500. But ask if they’ll accept it for just the $500 manufacturer contribution. Or, if that is too complicated for them, to add $500 back to the sale price and then apply the full $1k OL.
