BMW M550i Lease Proposal - South Florida

Hi all. I started researching a lease for this car here in the South Florida area and called around a few dealerships. Most of them quoted me in the $1200s with inceptions down for a 36 months 12k miles. The quote below was the best one I received. Could you guys chime in please? Where can I negotiate to lower the price more? Thank you in advance

The money factor is inflated, should be .00166

I feel like it’s so tough to get a good lease deal in South Florida. What numbers should I expect?

S.FL is a tough market in general, no question about it. Try to get a quote from @AB26 who works at a BMW dealer in S.FL. Not sure if his numbers are gonna be better but maybe he can assist.

Thanks. I’ll give it a try.

Also try Atlanta, it’s a much more competitive market. Even with shipping it should be much cheaper than abomination of a lease. Assuming you are tier 1 I don’t think the dealership is even allowed to markup the mf that much.

yes, but cannot be marked up that much on tier one. You can’t make that determination if you don’t know credit.

I am tier 1 credit. I’m trying the West coast of Florida. Might email some dealerships in Atlanta as well. Thanks

I was assuming tier 1, and you are correct, max Pack is .00206

I need to chime in here. Have you considered an out of state transaction? I just had the absolute best experience ever with Chris Lasko at P&W BMW in Pittsburgh, PA. Call him, tell him I (Robert Swan) referred you for an M550i. It’s worth a call, trust me - you’ll save enough that you can still be ahead after shipping the car.

Thanks. I am open to options. A $200 a month difference is $7,200 over the life of the lease so it would be worth spending $1,500 to ship the car here.

The discount is good, they aren’t giving you tier one credit though. So makes sure that you are actually tier one

I should have mentioned - I live in Colorado and when no dealer in state here was willing to negotiate, especially on the money factor, I began a 90-day nation-wide search. Chris Lasko gave me the best deal by far and was absolutely great to deal with.

you shipped from PA to CO? How much was that ?

I didn’t, but I did get a couple of quotes and they were all around $1100…FWIW I actually pick up the car this Friday - I’m flying out and I have a buddy who lives near Pittsburgh who is going to road-trip it with me back to CO.

was the shipping cost prohibitive ? Did you ever get it quoted? Seems like a long drive from PA to CO.

As I mention the shipping quotes were all around $1100 - $1300.
But this is my buddy since high school and it will be great to take the road trip with him so I was up for the drive in that scenario… driving time is about 21 hours.

enjoy the trip…hope you’re not doing it in one sitting

Thanks! No way would I try that in one sitting…
