BMW Lease Turn in. Tire condition

If tires are ready to be replaced do they charge me for that at lease end? Not bald but down to 1-2mm.

Buy 4 used tires off bestusedtires.com based on BMW requirements (must be run flat, same speed rating, etc) To save some money.

Can we get inspection done at two different BMW dealers? Will there be any difference? Is it better to turn in at where leasing another one or turn in at nearest one? One of the dealer said the damage estimate is done by BMW and not by dealership. Is that true? Any suggestions to minimize repair costs?

In america tires are bald a 2/32 of an inch. Although that is close to 2mm.

Bmw requires 4/32 of an inch or 0.125 inches or 3.18mm minimum tread depth.
