BMW lease transfer question with recall

have a general question regarding a bmw lease transfer that has probably been covered before.

I am interested in posting the car for transfer, but it is one that is affected by the recent recall of the faulty starter. My local bmw dealership said they are still waiting on a remedy before they can get this recall done for me. I know I can’t transfer before the recall is complete. My question is how soon after they complete the work will I be able to transfer?

Once the dealer completes the recall, the system takes 24 hours to update. The dealer will give you a copy of the performed recall repair which you can scan and email to BMW NA for faster processing. Get the correct email address from the C.A helping you with the lease transfer.

I haven’t started the transfer yet. I just figured I’d wait to post it after the recall work was complete.
