BMW Lease Return (Just Moved)

First time returning a lease and just want to make sure I’m not screwed.

Car: BMW X7
Location: Phoenix

Just recently moved and updated my address on the BMW financial service website, however my plates are still from out of state.

I never received the little lease end package I’ve read about, but the car is in good condition with the exception of a little curb rash.

Wondering what the process is for returning the lease - I’ve called the local dealerships and am just being told I need to drop it off, no appointment needed.

Are there going to be any papers that need to be signed off on etc at the time of drop off?

You should try to get a pre-inspection so you know what potential costs you are dealing with.

This is why I made the post to make sure I’m not screwed somehow, both dealers I called say there really isn’t a pre-inspection, which I know is not true.

This is true if they buy your car, if they ground (return) your car , they will definitely call in AIM to grade it.
