Need some experienced help - I want to get a family member an i8 lease for a few years. He’s adamant upon this car even though it’s discontinued. What rates can one expect to pay?

There isn’t a lease program for a 5 year old vehicle. Whatever is out there on the used market for purchase would be it.

You missed the i8 “lease deals” boat by about 5-6 year. They were going for real cheap, new, pre- covid.
Your best bet now would be to buy used for $50-60k. Good luck with the hunt

How does a handicapped person get in and out of an i8? I remember that car having the widest door sills ever. I had trouble getting in and out.
Listeennnnn, I may or may not have stolen a screw from a G63 at Mannheim once (several times).
Don’t waste your time. Just buy it and take the brunt like the stubborn ox your buddy is.
Some disabilities might mean they’re flexible and able to get in and out of an i8, but unable to walk long distances, I never judge and just leave it up to karma.

My 92 year old nana did ok in mine 
Took her to a few doctor appts in it back in the day
I think used i8 are a great value for a semi exotic that still looks good 5 years later. They were ahead of their time

I remember you had one… or two? Someone here definitely had two. And there was a very recognizable celebrity that was looking to swap out of his back then. I clearly remember it coz i had to tell the SO - “See! Even so-and-so hangs out on LH!”
Yeah I just had that one for a year. After I swapped it for like $8k down think my effective payment was around $400 or so. Miss those bmw deals back then
