since apparently, we can’t talk about I7’s in I7 deal threads.
And that’s why the i7 is the better car.
Performs and feels Premium and looks mostly like it’s gas counterpart.
BMW did a great job of basically offering the same cars and allowing the buyer to choose how they’re powered.
There is good and bad to CLAR II common platform. Like why does the I5 and I7 have a driveshaft hump in the second row. And when you compare them to the bespoke IX platform, with it’s carbon fiber tub, you can see all the compromises they made to support ICE. I really want to see a BMW exec sedan on a true bespoke electric platform like the IX.
I think at that point you would almost have to design the car as electric first, with secondary consideration to the gas counter part.
What I wouldn’t give to have a BEV X7.
mb gotta take notes their s580e has shining reviews compared to jellybean
Jesus why can’t they just make the iX an electric X5?? the EQS an electric S-class? I would buy either of those in an instant! Let’s see what they do with the electric 7 Series?

You should ask one of the THs to move this to Off Ramp.
