BMW i4e35 vs e40 (specific model questions) - Which would you take?! Calling all i4 owners!

Hi, wondering between two cars, both currently being shipped, the first one which will be available sooner.

  1. 2024 BMW i4 edrive35 - MSRP $62420 (fully loaded - Premium, Parking, Driving Assistance, Harmon Kardon ++ M Sport Package)

  2. 2024 BMW i4 edrive40 - MSRP $63470 (nearly loaded - Premium, Parking, Driving Assistance, Harmon Kardon). + blue accents :slight_smile:

… I am having trouble determining this:

  1. Is the higher HP and extra miles on the eDrive40 worth it over the fully loaded eDrive35 (with the M sport package)? The eDrive35 is also $40 cheaper per month.

I assume the M Sport package makes the drive nicer and more sporty, but does the lesser HP make a difference? And I assume my range on the eDrive35 will be even less with the larger wheels. I can get in the eDrive35 sooner than the 40 too.

What would you do?!

Just let range be your main consideration here.

MSport Package on an i4 doesn’t give you any notable performance benefits (but it does look much better) and even the 35e feels “fast”.
