BMW i4 eDrive 35 - Bay Area

Hello!

I’m trying to find a decent deal on a lease for a 2024 i4 edrive 35. I see quite a few folks here are getting 8%+ off MSRP, plus the $7500 manufacturer’s discount. Has anybody recently worked with any BMW dealerships in the Bay Area for this model?
Recently, I emailed BMW Peter Pan (San Mateo), they are offering -$4k MSRP.

My plan is to lease, then do an immediately buyout (cash). My understanding is that in this case, interest rate and downpayment matter less to me, is that true? Does it not hurt the dealership when people do this?

It only hurts them if they mark up the money factor, if you get a genuinely spectacular deal, wait 4 months before you buy it out, but you should be happy to exchange a bumped money factor for more discount here, as it won’t really matter in your case.
