This is not really a Hackr question, but enough of you seem to be knowledgeable and experienced enough to have insights on something like this. So here’s my question.
I have a BMW vehicle on Factory Order and we locked the $3000 holiday lease credit on 11/28.
Looks like there is a delay in my order and I am beginning to worry that the car may not be ready to pick up before the locked incentives expire on 01/28 (60 days for east coast). This is also because I live in a diff state than the dealer and I have to find a weekend to fly to the dealer to pick it up, which may not happen until the last weekend of Jan.
Is there a way to ‘re-lock’ the incentives for 60 days from today, the 2nd of Jan, either by re-running my credit or something else? Is that even possible?
i was going to lease a bmw before settling on an audi, and was looking into ordering a bmw (while locking in the holiday rates). i was advised by a bmw dealer that if the car isnt delivered and the “lock-in” period is about to run out, the dealership can request an extension from bmw financial to extend the locked in rates.
I’d assume such requests can be made and possibly honored only if there is a delay on the BMW side and not necessarily if ‘I’ delayed picking up the vehicle, yeah?
I’m currently working on a lease right now the info they are giving you is incorrect I summited the credit app and got approved my sales person just spoke to the manger he said I’m locked into the holiday incentives I can pick it up anytime this month
2nd that. Friend just did a deal and submitted the credit app to lock in the holiday cash, loyalty, and pull ahead. He will sign this weekend, but the CA didn’t seem to care if it was later than that.
