Description: Seeking a lease assumption for my 2024 i4 eDrive35. This is the perfect “short-term bridge” for someone wanting to experience a luxury EV without a multi-year commitment. I am transferring this because I am moving into a family vehicle provided by my father, so I am motivated to close the deal quickly.

The $4,500 cash incentive drops your effective payment to $845/month. I am also covering the $500 BMW FS transfer fee, making this a $0-cost entry for the buyer.

Why this is a great deal: * High Mileage: Over 1,100 miles per month available for the remainder of the lease—ideal for a high-mileage commuter.

  • Short Term: Only 10 months left. No 3-year headache or long-term debt.

  • Full Release: BMW Financial Services fully releases the original owner from liability upon transfer.

Condition & Transparency: This is a reliable daily driver in the Sandy Springs area. Mechanically 10/10. To be fully transparent, there is a scuff on the front bumper and a few surface scratches consistent with use. I have factored these into the massive $4,500 incentive. This amount more than covers any potential “Excess Wear” fees from BMW at turn-in, or you can use the cash to have it touched up yourself.

Requirements: * Buyer must be approved for credit by BMW Financial Services (typically requires Tier 1 credit).

  • Once approved, I am fully released from all liability.

Interested? Please send a PM if you’d like to see more photos of the car or the cosmetic items mentioned.

Wow that must be one of the worse leases i have seen in a long time….Ouch.

I hear you! To clarify the high payment: This lease had significant negative equity rolled in from a 5 Series I bought during the height of the COVID market.

Obviously, I’m not expecting the next owner to pay for my old car—that’s why I’m putting $4,500 cash on the table. It brings the ‘effective’ payment for the i4 itself down to the mid-$800s, which is right in line with a short-term, high-mileage luxury EV.

If you’re looking for a short-term trial of the i4 with a massive mileage buffer and cash in your pocket on day one, let’s talk.

Bruh my 2025 i5 m60 is 575+tax for 10k miles. And that was sitting on here for a bit. This will not move here

It’s a ‘great deal’ for somebody in the sense that you get a $4,500 check and a short 10-month commitment.

I understand the original lease wasn’t a ‘hack’ (COVID-era negative equity), but that’s irrelevant & why the incentive is so high.

If you need a long-term 36-month lease, go see a broker. If you need a high-mileage bridge car for the rest of the year and want cash in your pocket on day one that’s the deal here.

If you’re flexible on the incentive amount I would take it at $10k incentive.

Sadly I would still come out ahead of the game in that scenario but I might just suck it up at that point

He didn’t mean for the transferee.

Friendly reminder folks - No need to bash OP for the high monthly payment.

Still ok to bash for attempts at gaslighting and putting a lipstick on a pig?

OP shared that they had rolled NE into this lease. I don’t have anything else to say about this.

My friend, no disrespect meant. Just suck it up for another 10 months and return the car.

There is one broker in marketplace who has been offering BMW pullahead if lease ends Dec 2026 so you may want to try him out and see if he is able to offer some help as I doubt you can wash it all up in one shot.

at this payment/payoff he’s not close.

Only way I could see this work is that you could lower the monthly cost to less than $600. Still better than you suck it up for the rest of the term

Good luck OP.

Edit: sorry @AutoNinjas didn’t mean to reply to you; meant to directly reply to OP

NE is one thing and BTW there has to be over 25K to be even be in the ballpark… but this is clear gaslighting borderline nonsense. Mind you, this is an e35 without M Sport.

First post, I don’t think OP really understands what we’ve got going on here :joy:

If you’re interested in a Porsche you might consider this. Looks like the program has been extended to multiple additional models (beyond Taycan) since I last looked.

Not sure if it stacks with 6% back.
