I heard something about paying a mileage penalty on a BMW demo car - does this mean that I have to pay for the miles already accumulated on the car? Also, are exec demos’ MF/RV different?

BMW is rolling out a new residual value policy for all vehicles sold with 5,000 or more miles on them. Starting March 1st, 2017 vehicles previously used as service loaners, sales demos, etc. that have accumulated 5,00 or more miles will have 4 to 6 percent reduction in residual value at the end of the lease term. This comes on the heals of a new 4 Series tiered residual program.
