BMW: Dealer Allowance: $1,500 Cash Back

I found these two dealer allowance offers on several dealer’s site, The dealer I called told me that a customer can only receive the allowance if I finance with BMW. I dont understand why BMW would have two different allowance statements if they both require bmw financing. Is the sales rep wrong?

Dealer just wants to keep the cash rebate because your not financing. The finance rebate has to be passed to the customer. The cash one doesn’t. By selling a car cash right now the dealer doesn’t make the profit from financing.

So yes the rep is “wrong”… But your not going to convince them to do it.

APR money is for financing with BMWFS. It wasn’t being offered before this month.

Ooops I realized I removed part of the deal where it says bmw financing. So I assumed one was for someone who used bmw financing and the other did not require bmw financing and any bank can be used?

Finance money only? No lease incentives? I just read the language on the BMW site and it seems the $1500 is only if you finance. On a lease it only mentioned a “suggested dealer contribution” which just means discount off MSRP. Pfft.

$1,500 is finance
$1,000 is loyalty
$x-xx,xxx (yeah right) could be dealer contribution.
