$10k down… better be getting a G63 if you putting that much down
lol…you guys got me thinking now …if I buy its the same apr as leasing the residual is 28617 …thanks for the input guys
If I was doing this deal, I’d be at 646 with less than half that amount due at signing. If you want to order with me, I’d be happy to help, but no matter what you do, don’t take this.
Also, the money factor can’t be marked up on a loyalty lease, so I’m not sure how they’re doing that, it’s more likely they’re just charging you over MSRP>
hmmmm thank you
sounds like a plan I did that 3 years ago got a broker from here
Looks like you joined in 2020. Are you really posting this deal and then asking what’s wrong. Put in the effort or use a broker.
I did use a broker in 2020 and with all the crap about dealers charging over msrp and interest rates so high I though id ask you guys
Why don’t you spend time on learning lease variables and how to use the calculator? Or just use a broker because you will get hosed.
Its going under my sons name not mine on this deal…thanks for respomding
will do thanks
Not trying to be harsh but if you can learn the basics first then the data and advice on this site will be a lot more useful.
No worries Im good with the input Thats exactly what i wanted to get …all good
I am the impression that there might be a lot of pertinent information that we are not hearing…?
sons credit is 703 never had a car loan just credit cards…thats about it ive reached out to several brokers and no one has responded maybe its the holidays
Even if your son gets approved for the lease, they will most likely be required to put a substantial amount as a down payment.
Any reason you are looking at a BMW?
I would give them a few days to respond. Some folks are off today and tomorrow. Brokers need time off too
Thanks for responding …yes i like bmw and i like the 4 series gc…yes you right holiday
So you are doing a straw purchase?
Something is seriously off here. Car going under son’s name, but he does not have good credit. Should be able to get at least 6% discount on a 4 series GC. He may not qualify for BMWFS tier 1 credit for the lease.
son is buying /leasing the car whats wrong please explain
Your son is buying/leasing the car. Is it for himself or for you? If it’s for you, it’s called a straw purchase, which is illegal. If it’s for himself, then all is good. The way you mention how you like the car and you want the car gives the (perhaps unintended) indication that your son is putting the car in his name, for you. Nevertheless, I think the consensus is that you should work with a broker here. It’s too late to get it done for the June program, so start fresh tomorrow.
