BMW 330e - current lease credit a good deal?

Have been following the forum for quite a while. Thanks to all hackrs for donating their time to help.

I am in SoCal and have a 18K miles a year commute. I was thinking of having two leases with payments of <400 and <200 with a total of not much more than 500.
For the <400 lease:
I noticed that BMW has a $6K lease credit for the 330e. I was considering a C300 before I saw this.
For the <200 lease, I have no idea and looking for recommendations.

My past/current cars include Eclipse GT manual, Golf GTI DSG, Challenger R/T manual. (I know not great choices according to some enthusiasts, but they were somewhat more fun than my Corolla and Civic… )

I am looking to replace the Challenger R/T I had bought before I knew my next job was going to have such a long commute. An unfortunate encounter with a deer put the Challenger out of commission for now and I am driving the rental bestowed upon me by the insurance company. Hence, I am not in a hurry and will wait for the Challenger to be fixed and could drive it for as long as I need to until I can swing a couple of good deals.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

With 18k of commuting, I’d look at a Volt. Go get an offer from a dealer, with all the numbers. Then find out the residual and base money factor for the car. Then whittle the dealer down to near invoice minus the rebate.

So 12k on the cheaper lease and 10k on the more expensive one?

We have a couple really good Chevy dealers on here you can actually deal with if you’re in their area and considering the volt. They won’t give you the run around, they’ll get straight to the point.

So I feel like this could be intriguing.

Exec demo 330e with 9500 miles. Basically 50k car for 40k. Apply the 6k rebate on top of that bringing it to $34k.

Quick math below

Unless things have changed from last month you are looking at 62% residual that drops to 60%? Because of 9500 miles. Mf of .00151?

With drive offs of like $1400

Your payment would be approx $250 with tax.

Rough numbers tell me someone should hop on this!!! Greg Poland is the point of contact at this dealer. Guy is easy to deal with just tell him give you his best deal and he will cut to the chase.

I think th RV drop is much more. Probably -4% plus mileage adjustment.

Well even at 58% still looking good.

$285 a month $700ish drive off for 36/10 on a 50k car

The mileage adjustment is another $2250, so it’ll add another ~$63/month. Might be able to swing a better deal on a new or demo with less than 5k miles.

@Splattered : Thanks. I will go test drive a Volt and then start another thread to get help on that one.

Well these are baseline numbers off of what is advertised. I would try to negotiate the price down with them adding more money back.

Here is a black demo with 6900 miles. Not sure how this dealer is about negotiating. But they have over 10k off listed already.

New ones are dropping about 10% off msrp then the 6k. The difference for being a demo with miles would have to be worth the mileage adjustment vs cost

Last month for a friend got quoted $360ish with taxes a month with the 5500 rebate at the time and 2k drive off. 36/10

@Jon and @Rondtable : Thanks. I will contact Greg to see what he can do on that demo vs a new one.

@Rondtable That one is so close. I should go test drive it actually. Thanks!

Good luck hopefully it fits the bill

Apparently to get the $6k rebate the car needs to have under 5k miles. So the demo/loaner would need to have under 5k miles to be worth it otherwise a new car would be more attractive on a 300e
