Yeah but they are set and forget. I’m used to vehicles that you have to turn the fogs on every time you start the car.

The test is something like illuminating (hitting sensors) straight distances of 250, 275, 300, etc feet with intensity of at least 5 lumens per sq meter, IIRC.
Fog lights, by definition, have no affect here.
