Looking at this offer from a dealer. Unfortunately, I don’t have the $3k credit, but I did get the $1k OL code that they haven’t put in. This is a demo/loaner with only 546 miles on it at this point…so likely not as great a demo deal as I could possibly get.
Realistically, for a ‘loaner’ with low miles such as this, is this going to be as good as it gets? No option for military/student…just trying to see how reasonable this is.
Notable options: M Sport package, premium, park assist…others to list but key items + m + xdrive trim options.
the 2 series doesn’t really lease well but this is high even for a 2 series.
Felt like it…I don’t have experience leasing BMW so I’m new to this and feel like a complete newbie on this forum when so many others are pros. I got a great deal on my Q50s and looking to change brands but just seems like I can’t ever get a great lease deal period, even when trying to go a loaner route.
Can’t use an OL code on demo/loaner cars.
Good to know! I hadn’t brought it up to them. Thanks for the tip.
what part of the country are you located in ?
I’m in MI but I’ve been e-mailing and calling dealerships in a number of states. It’s hard to search exec/demo/loaner cars with the package you want yourself through their sites so I usually have to wait to speak to someone who can check inventory and then go through a number of hurdles to get a quote.
Haven’t checked SaL in a while…that’s not too bad, not a huge fan of the color. I’ll have to see if I can find any other interesting ones. Thanks for the thought.
i only picked that one because it was in MI.
Would make sense to get one from SAL and let someone else take the upfront money hit on it. Then again if you’re picky about color/options, then it’s going to be tough.
There are a lot of people through SAL who still ask for a downpayment to cover their initial investment, unfortunately
I’m looking though…there are some sweet M235 options I see. I was a bit leery before about using their service, but maybe it’s time to give it another shot.
all negotiable. They are on the losing end trying to get out, you really have the upper hand in negotiating. Some people are desperate to get out they’ll negotiate.
Have you used SAL before? I’m sure I can find threads on here about it (which I’ll look through) but I was originally hesitant to try it out.
yes i have, i’m a big fan. Especially a good place to get a good deal on higher priced leases.
The other advantage with SAL vs a Loaner is there’s usually only 1 or 2 people that farted in it before you vs a loaner, where many farts have been had.
