Papers not signed yet, car ordered and almost ready to ship. Tried 3 dealers and nobody would budge except one who agreed to go under invoice $ 1000k or roughly 7.7 under msrp… hopefully got that all right. anyway they said since its hard to get allocations for convertibles and special order that this is best they can do and I searched a few months and got tired of the whole scenario replayed over and over so thought the deal looked good for this but just wanna see your thoughts. Lease hacker score is 7, so not sure if that is good on this car or not. I am considering max MSDs which would bring payment down about $ 30 and would require an additional $ 5950 up front. Also considering buying out right for 5 years at 1.9% , but have not made up my mind yet.
thanks for your review and input
well I know its expensive… but I thought its the right time in my life to do it…I have no mortgage, I have a 12 year old BMW now, no debt… so I thought was good time to do it, but yes I do struggle with the price tag… but think life is short and I have no kids, no debt, and while I can enjoy it , now is the time… ( I am 56).
Problem is its a new model year so shitty dealer discounts. But $882 a month for a 4 series isn’t worth it. A year or 2 down the road I wouldn’t be surprised if you see brokers advertising the same car with payments in the 600’s. Now if you are absolutely in love with the car, don’t want to consider other options, and want to be the first in the area with a new 4 series it might be worth it for you.
That is pretty close. Consider that @omelettte listed a Convertible with an MSRP that is 7000 higher, no MSD’s, NJ tax rolled in, and no broker fee. Also, his RV is 56 vs 57 in the calculator you linked maybe because it’s a Convertible.
Hello thanks… mine is an ordered convertible with exec package, HK option, 19” wheels, remote engine start … it’s at the port now waiting for a carrier
