Crazy good deal. Someone with a business in IL needs to snatch this asap.

Just curious, why does it need to be a business?

Truck was originally leased by a business.

It’s incredibly easy to set up an LLC if you’re an IL resident and interested in the take-over

It is easy. But will GM lease a brand new non credited business this truck?

Not super likely

Generally these leases have Personal Gaurantors. It’s not like they asked me for business financials. I personally guaranteed it

To parrot OP, the business doesn’t really matter here. They’ll look at your personal income and dti to determine approval

My Ford lease did the same. But they did ask length of business ownership

Someone could just make a foreign office in IL and PG it. Should be okay but don’t know if you can transfer tags back to home state then?

OP, I may be able to actually make this happen with my LLC in IL. I am going to DM you to get some more specifics around lease taxes etc

I feel an obligation to at least try to make this happen!

mods - can you lock post for now? Transfer pending - awaiting credit approval.

Credit did not go through. Car is still available

How does insurance work? If it’s a LLC, do you need to have commercial insurance coverage?

I’m in Chicago and have a few legit businesses. Sent you a DM. Let’s see if we can make this work.

Pending again. Apologies

Good luck, hope it all works out for you OP. Feel free to ping a CM to reopen if otherwise.
