Bimmercode app reviews

Wondering if anyone has used the bimmercode app and how was the experience?

Trying to disable the auto/start off mode and read that it is supported to change ir

Bimmercode is awesome, works super well. Use it with one of the recommended Bluetooth obd readers, it worked a lot better than one of the wifi readers. Some of the recommended readers work with only F series cars while some work with both F and G series cars, so keep an eye out for that.

Better than Carly since it doesn’t require a subscription, just pay it once and you’re good to go.

Can’t speak for the auto start stop thing since my car remembers the last setting.

thanks! I was thinking on the wifi readers but after your comments changing to Bluetooth

Used it for my car as well - works perfectly. Purchased I Carmax pro 3 (I hope that’s what it is lol) from Amazon

I use Bimmercode with a $12 Bluetooth OBDII dongle. For some reason, it wouldn’t work properly with my previous $20 Bluetooth adapter, but I tried it out with this new, cheaper one and it worked fine. You can definitely disable auto start/stop with it.

That code is in there. You can have it set to remember off instead of on.

It’s pretty simple. I like it. I have a Bluetooth dongle as well that plugs into the OBDII port. The advanced codes are in German, so that can be a bit tricky. But there’s a ton you can do with the regular codes as well.

One thing to remember…if your car ever needs a module reprogrammed at the dealer, you’ll lose the codes you set for that particular module and have to redo them. Just write everything down for that and in the event you coded something wrong and it gets screwy, you can revert back easy.
