Couldnt find any instances of it already happening but i did find that there is a parallel recall for the windshields as well
Wouldn’t surprise me if they got some info regarding the adhesives used being compromised in cold weather or something like that, and it’s being done as a precautionary step.

Its interesting because the canadian models are made in the same factory as the U.S ones so curious to see if it extends here. If its due to extremely cold weather like you mentioned it may be limited to our neighbors to the north.

That’s the problem with a lot of these factory off-road ready vehicles, just because the vehicle is capable doesn’t mean the driver is.
