Hi all,
Received a quote on my current car. Had some followup questions for Carvana on the 3rd party lease release process. Their chat support said someone would reach out in an hour and its been several hours already. Additionally, their phone line says the wait time is greater than an hour and continues to say that. Maybe they are just non-responsive on Saturdays? Any effective ways to get through to them? Thanks.
How many red flags are you going to ignore?
They are relatively responsive via text message.
If you get in at the right time of the day, their chat can be pretty effective when you get a live person. But beware from my experience their can sometimes get disconnected randomly.
Also they have switched to 7am to 5pm Mountain time, so if you call as soon as they open you maybe able to get a time under 1 hour, but that is also unpredictable.
Carvana has pretty good Twitter support. Now only if Vroom had the same.
Thanks guys! I may just move forward with Carmax with whom I have had great experiences with in the past.
I gave up on Carvana. Took 13 days to get back to me after I accepted their offer for my VW Alltrack. Sold it to Carmax for $400 bucks less and didnt look back!
$400 less is not bad considering the time you saved and got an instant transaction with Carmax.
Forget about calling them, and intimidate respond of any kind. They normally respond to text in about 1 day or so.
Nice hope you made out well on the value with Carmax, which I am sure you did.
My buddy just sold his Dodge Charger on Friday to CarMax and got $300 more than what they offered a week ago. Total time he spent there was 1 hour 30 mins, this is only because the line for final inspection and payment was long.
Hope you have a nice new ride lined up.
How does Carvana Twitter support work? #Carvana, or send them a private message.
Call carvana and then use Google call hold feature or similar App to hold the call for you. It’ll go from “several hours” to “30 mins” and finally “10 mins” this is when you should pick up the call and be on stand by. Once you have a rep, ask them to call you back in case you get disconnected. Utilize the rep to talk to the bank (3 way call), ensure all documents are in place, etc. Once everything is aligned, then it’s super easy to book evaluation and get paid.
Or maybe use some other service… one that doesn’t require a special playbook to have questions answered by a human.
Wish they were a more streamlined option for my situation. Would happily give up a few hundred bucks and save hours. Carmax offer was way lower, not worth considering in my case.
If you #Carvana you’re not going to get a response. You need to either send them a message or tweet @ them. So it’d be @Carvana
@carvana or PM carvana.
