Best places to sell a newer Porsche 911

I have a 2025 Porsche 992.2 coupe with 1200 miles. Anyone know any dealers actively buying newer 911s? Carmax, Carvana and DriveTime don’t seem to be great options.

I would be trading in the car to another dealer (for the tax credit on another car) and they would turn around and sell the car to the buyer of the Porsche. It could be a private party buyer as well but I’m mainly looking for any dealer contacts that actually want 992.2 coupes to retail.

TIA.

Just to be clear: you’re looking for a Porsche buyer in lieu of trading it for the tax credit?

I want to trade in my Porsche to get the tax credit towards the purchase of a different vehicle. The dealership where I’m buying the car doesn’t really want a newer Porsche but they’re willing to facilitate the trade in / sale so I can get the tax credit.

If I can find Dealer A that is willing to buy my Porsche for $X, then I would trade my Porsche in to Dealer B for $X and get the tax credit towards a car that I’m buying from Dealer B. Dealer B would then sell the Porsche to Dealer A for the same $X.

I don’t think Dealer B even needs to physically take possession of the Porsche as long as they have a legit dealer offer. Does that make sense?

Got it. I don’t know (GA?) law but in other states that allow a tax credit for trades, the dealer processing the transaction has to physically be in that state. Trying to understand if your question limited you to buyers within your state- sounds like the answer is no.

Most Porsche dealers are starved for 911 inventory. I’d check there as well, I know my local store (Knoxville, TN) usually has strong offers on 992s. The only caveat is the spec on your 911 needs to be a desirable one with the options most buyers want (sport chrono, sport exhaust, premium pack, upgraded wheels).

Honestly, your best bet would be your local Porsche dealer. It would be easier to help you find specialized dealers if you’re able to share what state you belong to.

If you want send me the details and I can ask a local Miami dealer if they want it. I sold them a car last week and they like to buy new high end cars usually.

I’m in GA and they do not limit tax credits to in-state dealers. Thanks.

My car doesn’t have a ton of options but it has sport chrono, sport exhaust, Bose (no prem) and upgraded wheels.

Will do. Thanks.

MMR is $140k with 4k miles. My car has 1200 miles but is probably lighter spec’d than most…though I think I have the more desirable options.
