Best lease options for non-EV luxury cars in the $750-$1,000 range?

My 2022 X5 lease is up in December and I’m looking to get into something else. While I know that EVs are generally leasing the best, that’s not an option for me.

It looks like X5s are leasing poorly at the moment. I’m wondering which vehicles I should be looking at where I can put together some semblance of a deal. $750-$1,000 per month is what I’m willing to spend. I can put down a few grand if I need to. I want something that is mid-size to full-size (preference towards no 3rd row, though) and optioned out pretty nicely (e.g. X5, 5-Series, E-Class, GV80, that type/class of vehicle) but I am willing to be flexible on the exact make and model.

Appreciate the help!

Click on Marketplace for BMW and your state.

5-series will be your best bet. X5 leases are atrocious compared to financing at 1.99%

MB ICEV leases are unappealing without a targeted loyalty rebate, last I checked, unless you consider a GLC an acceptable alternative to an E class.

GV80 is horrible too IIRC.
Hyundai SantaFe/Palisade Calligraphy or Telluride SXP is the way to go if you want a Korean car.

Good post —-

I feel comfortable between $700-$1k as well lolll - anything past that financing starts making a whole lot of sense

Tough market for leases right now, but there are still deals out there.

Would you be comfortable with a lower-optioned X5? You can potentially be there with drive-offs paid at signing. I posted an X5 50e yesterday that would work, for instance.

I was looking for an X5 and ended up in a GLE 53 for under $1000/month including tax with 3k down. I didn’t love the screen in the new X5, but otherwise it is a great car. I am loving the GLE 53, very fun car to drive and well configured without many additional options.

Yeah good car for the $$ at the moment - however you’re locked in for 48 months

Mercedes has a 4% buyout fee and other nonsense fees

Also, support is horrendous from getting dealer buyout numbers to EV issues - they will mumble and hang up the phone

I like Chase Auto - Toyota Financial is good too

People on this forum love BMW Financial

The most hated are VW Financial (Audi, VW,Porsche) US Bank and Stellantis possibly

What was the MSRP? Were you able to get a good discount?

MSRP was 95k, selling price was 75k so very good discount. If you can find a dealer or broker that has '24’s in stock, i think they are still being very aggressive on them. I know the X5 deals have gotten better, so that is an option, but I think I prefer the GLE53 to the stock X5. I was able to get 36 months as well, most are pushing 48 on these
