Some of these deals are unreal. If only…lol

As someone leasing his first car during Covid times.

I firmly believe this topic should be locked and removed from the site never to be seen or discussed again. :sob:

I grabbed an M4 off swap a lease, drove it for 3 months and made $7500 as a 17/18 year old. Net - to make myself feel better I’ll quantify it as -$2500 a month for a 81k msrp car.

S60, got payed to drive that, and my V60 will net out to an amount I’m happy with.

Lot queen, young and sweet, only a 2019.

I’m guessing your parents signed off on the M4? How did they feel that you sold it after 3 months and made $7500?

long time back. I leased GM Spark EV, monthly was 80$ a month for 36 month with California rebate of 1500 or 2500$ dont recall. That was the best one for me.

And my biggest hack was finding this website!! Which truly changed my life… yes i just said that … it really changed my life… this site and the helpful members are a real game changer!! Believe that!!

$130-something Malibu in 2016 was one of my favorites. I think it was less than $300 OTD too. I know some hackrs got it sub-$100 with costco or something.

An Acadia 2 years later for mid-200s

Tundra crewmax SR5 for 380, need to contact @Jrouleau426 and see if I have any equity and what’s best to get into

This right here. Nothing impressive, or worthy of bragging, but I am super happy to have found the site, and it has saved me a ton. I have been able to score 2 very good deals. My current 2021 Chevy Bolt / Premier is $4500 all in after rebates. My first find was a 2018, Chevy Volt, at $6603, and I made $2,100 on the equity at the end! lol. All things learned on this site.

Surprised nobody has brought up the 2015 Fiat 500e firesale.

Deal was $92+tax. $3500 DAS for 36/12. Closer to 80 if it was 36/10. Included 504 annual Enterprise Rental gift card. CVRP had no restrictions so it was $2500 back from the state.

Wife and I refer to them as ‘pooplets’…at first they were all M&M brown, then came the orange M&M’s. Was a serious hack even at Slickdeals.

Not much of a hack like the rest of this thread, but it’s the first lease I ever did completely on my own

2021 LT1 44k msrp $357/mo (pre-tax) $583 das. Got a quote for 6k over payoff but holding onto it until my 4xe arrives. Then I’ll reappraise and decide which to sell

Some of the deals in this thread make no sense to me. How was it possible for dealers to make any money on them? Why would dealers agree to those insane offers?

Combination of heavy factory incentives, carrying debt on the floor plan/stuff on the lot and need unload slow sellers, and with the EVs tax credits. And timing… in a soft market move the metal.

Agree with what others have said about the great benefit of this site and all of the knowledge that can be gained by just reading. I can’t begin to imagine how much money it has saved me. Not to mention being able to drive new and different cars so frequently. I don’t post much but I go back quite a ways to when this site was in its infancy. I have done deals on my own, used brokers, even used Honcker/Rodo but always with the benefit/knowledge of all of the information available here. Below is my list where I show every lease and an all-in monthly payment amount (including fees, taxes, rebates, etc…). Many were sold before lease end for an even better overall deal.
