Looking for advice on what the best lease deals that are out there right now on a 3 row SUV. I’m guessing electric, so maybe EV9 or Ioniq 9? Any advice?
Off the top of my head I would say check out the Mazda CX90. I heard they are offering bonus cash on leases.
The cheapest option seem to be the CX-90 PHEV at the moment.
EV9 and Ioniq9 will be slightly more expensive.
Not sure about Tax and tax credits, but may be able to find EV9 wind AWD and CX90 PHEV Premium plus (with MSDs for around the same price).
Ioniq9 a bit more expensive.
i found a cx-90 premium plus (61k msrp) phev for 385/month with 10msd’s in GA. I added wear/tear insurance that brought it to 410.
Same. Just brokered two deals for family members on these:
-
CX90 PHEV premium plus: $399 with 1st and MSDs down, taxes and fees rolled in
-
KIA EV9 Wind: ~$435 with just 1st (would’ve been $410 without negative equity)
Any idea on how low you can get other trims for?
Filter the Marketplace and Signed Deals & Tips for Texas.
Since you’ll need to find a good deal as well as TX-specific tax credits, what’s happening in the other 49 is almost irrelevant
I believe there was a TX Mazda deal posted recently that had lender sales tax credits.
TBH Mazda isn’t very appealing. I think I will go with EV9 GT-Line (currently $75k MSRP, $700/mo 12k miles 36 months $0 down) or a Ioniq 9 Calligraphy, or maybe both if I can get a similar offer. Haven’t seen anything good from brokers so doing this one myself. I will keep everyone posted. If you have a good deal please let me know.
What’s your location? Let us know what you find!
I’m in Irving, TX, but I’m searching across the nation.
This is what I ended up with:
Looking for another good deal on a 3 row before the end of September. I think key is residual value because a dealer was giving me $20k off a $75k Volvo XC90 2025.5 and the price was like $1000 a month. Residual is like 53% vs 70% on EV9. Looking at other options like Ioniq 9. Has anyone else heard of anything worth exploring? I don’t want to have 2 EV9s…
Mazda CX-90?
Any one single item doesn’t determine how good something leases. It’s some combination combination of large pre-discount, incentives from the manufacturer in form of dealer cash or rebates, MF, and RV (assuming no bogus fees or add ons). You could have a vehicle with a poor RV, but low enough MF + large rebates and discounts. The only way to know is take all the variables and run some example leases in the calculator (Using pre-incentive discount benchmarks from marketplace, signed forum, etc.). Of course, a quick way to see what is leasing well is to just scour the marketplace.
You are correct in that the Volvo XC90 isn’t leasing well this month (esp compared to previoius months). As others suggested, Mazda CX90 is the other entry leasing well (in addition to EV9), and the intro Ioniq 9 leases are pretty solid as well. A couple brokers had some great discounts on Infiniti QX60 as well.
Dealer was not “giving” you 20k in discounts. He most likely just applied the rebates and some discount.
Broker a deal like what? I am not a broker.
Maryland kills you with their tax on leases but click Marketplace if you want to see what brokers here can do for you.
Closest I can get to EV9 deal is on an Ioniq 9 and that’s still $200/mo more. I’m really struggling to find a good deal on another 3 row and I’ve searched tons of cars. Anyone have any suggestions? No to Mazda, just doesn’t look good with old styling.
