Best deal for hybrid car in socal?

Hi all,
I’ve been looking at the e-golf, i3, and the chevy spark EV. I’ve heard about crazy deals about the spark EV where people pay 80/mo but that those deals have dried up. I’ve seen the e-golf for 3k down and $99/mo and some deals regarding the i3 but i’m wondering if anybody knows of a deal thats recent. I’m looking for the cheapest option that can be used with the silver HOV sticker as this will be a commuter car to get to work.

Great question. The green stickers for plug-in hybrids are all gone, so pure electric vehicles with white stickers are the way to go. I’ve got a 2014 Focus Electric myself, and even at $220/month, it’s cheaper than paying Express Lanes tolls.

Deals on i3 are hit-and-miss because there’s limited inventory and they all come equipped differently. Deals on Soul EV and LEAF are nothing special. I’d look into e-Golf and Spark EV:

Hi everyone, I am looking at my first EV. Yesterday I went to a dealer in the SF Bay Area and found a golf SEL for $3950 drive off, and $189 (plus tax) per month. I will get my $2500 rebate from CA too. I had an offer of $3950 drive off, plus $127 per month including tax for a Golf SE, but I would prefer to get the extra features on the SEL model. Interested to hear what people think of the SEL deal. Thanks, Mike

Spark EV Lease - Is it a good deal?

Hi Guys, Today I got a quote for an Spark EV 2016 2LT (w/fast charging provisions), and since this is my first lease I would like some insight on whether or not the lease is a good deal. The drive off amount is $2000 The monthly payments are $142.66 including Tax Residual: $10311 What do you think? Thanks PS: It would be nice to include the Spark EV in the lease comparison if possible
