Normal parking in Ljubljana - MUST ZOOM IN to fully appreciate it! The cars down the middle are actually parked cars and no one sitting inside.

Nope, all locked up, no notes, not in neutral either. Takes a real effort, skill and time to get in and out.
Interesting, that’s a pretty common practice in Russia in tight parking situations.

All over the Balkans people park this way, they park on the sidewalks too, as there’s not enough parking-poor planning.

Huh, all over Europe for that matter but post-Soviet space more so than others since there was not any consideration of private car ownership under wonderful communist future.
