Best car deal with Parking features

My wife hates parallel parking among other things. Can any of you recommend the best car (apart from a Tesla) with good parking features?

Get her garage space.

Are you good at parallel parking? If so, then maybe you can offer to do some practicing with her because this is a skill than can improve rapidly with just a little repetition. Or even if not then you could both do some practice. Many people have apprehension about parallel parking because it seems unintuitive but also don’t even try to practice.

Other than that, it seems like most manufacturers offer such a feature but maybe in practice it is not that helpful, see https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a46683694/ford-parallel-parking-tech-discontinued/

Is she willing to let the car park itself or just wants assistance tech?

Something with front/rear beepers (forward and rear collision avoidance) and a 360 cam that shows parking guide lines. The Volvo system doesn’t have the best camera but the Plus/Ultimate trim has all of these and they work well. I’ve driven plenty of cars that had all of these, though parking beeper disappeared on some models during shortages.

The Ford co-pilot parallel parking system worked well but I used it twice in 5 years across 2 leases. I’ve been a passenger in BMWs and Audis that did it and it worked well.

A high-res backup camera with guide lines and beepers will reduce apprehension, but this is the right answer. No substitute for practice. Get 2 orange cones (they make great pets) and hit an empty parking lot for 20 mins at a time.
