I want the latest full size, no less . Others won’t cut it .
It’s like OnlyFans, but for nerds.
That’s a lot of Should have worked harder buttons.
I know sedans are passé, but I’d rather drive a Camry over a comparably priced RAV4 any day of the week.
Better steering, brakes, ride, and handling. Better fuel economy. Quicker acceleration. Rear seats that are more comfortable and more spacious. Sure, the cargo area is smaller, but just get your big boxes delivered instead.
From an ownership POV, RAV4 will probably hold its value better, but you might actually find a discount on a Camry.

Toy yodas aren’t meant to be impressive. It was one of the 3 SUVs I considered (CX-5 was the other) before deciding on the Cherokee. Both Mazda and Toy Yoda decided that to remote start your car, you need to pay for a subscription. That was the deciding factor.
I think I’m on my last BMW, after the voice controls stopped working properly when a subscription ran out.
The navigation is now almost unusable unless you manually enter a destination.
At the same time, many functions that were accessible from the BMW app also met an untimely demise.
They were trying to pull a BMW, until the community went bananas on them for removing remote start from the non IOT key fob.
They still charge to use remote start from the app after the free trial.
Bmw navigation has always been unusable. It used to tell me all the time that I would arrive at my destination at X time and it was off by like 20+ min for no reason. Wasn’t a setting or traffic just a bad nav.
Always used Waze via Apple CarPlay
I think Waze is superior to in-car navigation anyway. If your bimmer has carplay or android auto, you can just use Waze.
Yep, it’s pretty ridiculous. Meanwhile on my Charger Scat and my previous Challenger Scat, even though there was a free 1 year trial on UConnect, you don’t need it because the fob has a remote start button that doesn’t require a sub. Same with the Cherokee since its a FCA/Stellantis product.
I refuse to get a car that requires a sub for a basic function that was around for decades w/o needing a sub
ETA isn’t an important feature to me. I just want directions.
In the rare instance I’m traveling at/near peak commute hours, I’ll look at Google Maps to make sure the route makes sense.
What I like most about the BMW navigation system is that the directions are integrated into the HUD. CarPlay is not.
But I don’t have CarPlay either. I can add it for $300, though.
(It’s a 2018)
Spoken like the individual who doesn’t like LED headlights
I don’t not like them; I’m completely ambivalent about headlights.
Colored LED interior lighting whizzing across the dash and door panels, though, is another matter entirely.
Who wants to drive around in a dance club?
Interior lighting I couldn’t care less, nice to have, but meh.
I love good headlights tho.
Headlights stir the same passion in me as particle board.
Amen brother, I had rented a midsize, got to the airport they had assigned a almost new Outlander with about 3k miles to me, get it out, it was the most awful car I had experience up to that point in my life.
someone else mentioned Mitsubishi being garbage…I haven’t had the pleasure.
Must have been April 1!
And here I am waiting for the PHEV Prime RAV4 as soon as the above MSRP pricing is turning me off.
