Are you aware if Infiniti lets you transfer out of lease without keeping you on the hook for the remainder of the lease?

I believe Infiniti Financial Services allows you to transfer your lease to another person. However, your name stays on the lease as a guarantor. This means that even after the transfer is approved, you are still responsible if the new lease holder misses payments, defaults on the lease, or fails to meet the lease terms. In that situation, IFS can still hold you financially responsible.

Yup im aware that its been like that but was curious if OP has recently checked and if anything has changed on their IFS end.

As far as I know it hasnt changed so I’m a little nervous for that reason. My thinking is that if someone has strong credit they would not want to risk that as well but I guess its kind of scary

Hi, can you please post or send me the window sticker.

Thanks!

Hi I added it into the description.

Hi, PM’d Thanks!

Very important point to consider! As far as I’m concerned, any brand that keeps the original leasee on the hook is not a brand that actually offers transfers. I would never transfer a lease unless I am completely released from liability.

OP you should think long and thoroughly about this move.

Congrats! Dm a cm if you need to reopen

The car is available again

Who would the MSD’s actually go to if OP is still on the hook for the lease?
