Autonomy Tesla M3 Subscription/Microlease FREE (or $150/month Incl. Insurance)

Prerequisite:
Check AMEX offer to see if you have “$1000 off $1000 autonomy subscription service”. I got two offers on two different cards.

The deal:
1000 miles/mo allowed.

First need to use a referral code (DRIVEFREE6VC7) to get first month free. Total drive off (including first month payment) came to a total of $1200+, with AMEX $1000 off $1000, effective drive off $200+
Second month payment will be paid with another AMEX card with the offer, monthly payment a little over $1000. Will return the car after 2 months.

Total effective payment for two months including full coverage insurance: ~$300

Picked up in Santa Monica. Seamless experience.
Basically got to drive the model 3 for free for two months. Perfect for a short term rental.

i’m on the app… trying to figure out how you broke down that pricing. the pricing i see makes you pay $1000 to “start”, then $850 a month, plus $500 security deposit and then taxes for $211.50. the total price for 1 month is $2561, with a $500 refundable deposit when i return the car…??

i’d like to also note there is nowhere to put the referral code? I’m also in California near Santa Monica so its not like you got a regional pricing difference

I don’t remember at which step I entered the referral code. Let me check. Have you entered your DL information?

In my case they didn’t charge the $500 security deposit. And with first month free that’s another $850 off.

I’m not totally following your math. Which plan did you do? $1k down and $850/mo?

Did you get first month off + $1k from AmEx?

Is the full coverage included or was it extra?

So you paid net $200 drive off but then $1k the next month? Wouldn’t that be $1200 total for $600/mo or do you get the $1k AmEx offer more then once?

Edit: I see so you double dip the AmEx offer by using 2 different cards, once for drive off and another for 2nd month?

so on the website, using the “sliders” i can see a $1000 to start with each month being $1000. I assume this is what you got and since you used a code for 1 month free, your cost would just be $1000 + tax which gets rebated from Amex. then i’m assuming second month you are going to use your second Amex card for another $1000 off $1000. so i can see where your math makes sense

However this interactive slider is just on the website, when you try to actually sign up this plan doesn’t exist, not sure how you got to sign up. also still having trouble finding a place to put a referral.

Yes that’s correct.

Insurance is included and mandatory through autonomy. Insurance alone is about $140-$150/month. Hence I’m saying the vehicle itself is technically free.

2nd month is slightly over $1000 and I’ll use the AMEX offer on my other card when it’s due.

Tip: use max rewards to automatically add all Amex offers, even same offer on multiple cards.

The Amex offer expires at 9/30/23. When do they actually start to charge you?

Will the folks who apply now be able to use the 2nd offer before it expires?

Drive off already charged. And it triggered AMEX credit right away.

My next payment should be due before end of September. You can call them and ask about the due date.

The app could be buggy. Maybe try giving them a call tomorrow morning.

do you remember where you put in the code? my ID and selfie finished, the next step is to put a deposit down… still nowhere to put referral code for first free month

Hmm strange. Definitely reach out to them in the morning via chat/call to figure out why it’s not showing up.

For the second payment on the second card, can you pay ahead of time? Looks like the Amex offer expires on 9/30 and it’s already 8/31 now, so it’s questionable if the second charge would hit in time.

Does the promo code take the sales tax off as well?

No it doesn’t.

Good question. I’d call and ask them to see if that’s possible

Amex offers are gone for that… guess it was limited

I’m seeing it

This only works out short term because of the amex offers right?

Need a big asterisk :asterisk:

Im being told inventory is only available in Santa Monica CA and you’ll have to pay to ship it. I was quoted $1200 to NY
