AUDI TT - Low mileage lease coming up, what are savvy options

Hi everyone,
Used this forum to negotiate a solid rate on my '17 TT (36/10). Due to a change in job (eg less commuting), I’ve only put 14k on the car in total! So the KBB is probably a bit higher than residual.
Want to know savvy options in advance of expiry

  • can finance purchase and build equity
  • not sure what programs audi is running re early term/loyalty - lease a q3/5, maybe a4

Goal on new lease would be lower overall costs (tighter wallet this go around). Would love ideas on ways to leverage this car

Thanks

Start by going to carvana and getting a purchase quote to compare against your payoff.

Unless the RV was way low, I doubt you will have any equity in the car. My 2017 A4 was worth about $3,000 less than the RV, even with very low miles.

Thanks, yea it’s actually pretty close to slightly above. I guess the hope then is i just play to loyalty and roll into a new lease

Anyone know what the current loyalty incentives look like

About 10 years ago, I had an A4 Convertible with 13K (maybe 11K…don’t recall exact number) after 36 months…dealers, used cars companies, Audi were all unwilling to give me more than my payoff.

Look on the bright side…at least you didn’t have to replace the brakes or tires!

haha thanks

Im hoping another dealer will see the profit (eg im decently sure MV > RV) so can roll that towards a new plan. On the other hand with no more TTs coming out i kind of wonder if RV will hold up decently, assuming i continue low mileage, in which case I may just considering rolling into a purchase
