I’m just beginning the process, and the residuals are crappy (low 50s for 36/10), however the MF is very low, they have a MSD program, and the most important thing is (at least the first dealer I’ve contacted) looks to be very eager to get this off the lot with aggressive pricing. According to edmunds, there’s also up to $4k in support from Audi.
Audi’s typically don’t lease well at all, but I’m wondering what actual numbers people have seen on s6 leases, and if at least getting close to the 1% rule is possible.
Initial offer from a dealer was $799/mo, 42 month term.
Out the door would be 1k cap cost reduction plus taxes and fees.
For a $77k S6, I was surprised it was this low, and I’m sure can get lower. What really surprised me is this S6 offer wasn’t too much higher than a $57k S4 I was quoted on (zero drive off, about $770/mo)
Audi’s, especially their higher end models, lease horribly. So for an S6, it’s not the worst deal in the world. It’s also not that bad when you compare it to what people are paying for mb c43’s.
Of course it’s not a great deal compared to some of the insane deals on the hellcats, jaguar f-types, etc.
Only problem is I don’t want a hellcat, and a f-type isn’t practical for me.
I am surprised it is that high, especially with the new S6 hitting soon with new tech like the S4 has. I would be a player in the 6s, but I guess Audi still thinks they can get most of the money for these
What I heard from my Audi sales guy ( going off what he is saying) is that the A6/S6 will be coming in as MY19 with the new body style and tech. I could be wrong but that is what the sale guy said.
42 months is a tough place to be maintenance wise. Quattro eats tires so you likely will be replacing those at least once. Possibly more depending on how you drive. I’m on my third set with my A6 and just hit 50K miles. Brakes will likely need to be replaced in that time too. Going that extra 6 months over a 36 month lease also adds the 40K service which is a big one. Audi Care would be a must unless you know a good indy mechanic or can wrench yourself.
