Audi Q8 lease good deal?

,

Hey all - first time doing this - never leased a car.

Audi Q8 premium (75k price) - looks like we’re getting a $10-15k discount.
Monthly payment: $800
mileage: 12k
(i don’t know MF)
Term: 42 months
residual (52% I believe)
$DAS: $3800

In Texas so taxes are on vehicle price. They added like $1k for tint + nitrogen + some other BS but i’m not totally mad because we’d need to tint anyway.

Seems good to me - im going to try to get due at signing to be JUST the monthly payment.

How would we rate this deal?

Our other option is an X5 and it seems those are leasing for $1k + and higher $$ down. Other option would be to buy a used X5.

I would think at this deal leasing is cheaper?

Make sure you understand the numbers before you sign. Just bc it feels like a good deal doesn’t mean it is. Given you’re in Texas you should be trying to get tax credits.

@IAC what do you think?

Dealer may be out of lender tax credits. Send a worksheet?

What about the Q8 and the X5 make them the only two options?

Lol Hard to have an opinion without all the info. Personally I wouldn’t do 42 months and I wouldn’t lease in Texas without tax credits.

The reply was meant to be to the OP, not to you, sorry.

Happy wife happy life!

We’ve driven the other options and don’t like them. We want something that’s a good size and we like these 2 the most.

I like the x5 MUCH more driving wise but everything else the Audi is nicer IMO.

Only concern is Audi doesn’t include service and idk any other “hidden costs” where it’s all covered with BMW.

Let’s see what we can do for you on an X5.

BMW doesn’t cover much more than 3 annual oil changes, does it?

Just got a quote back from BMW

base spec - $1150 per month with $1500 down

I’m pretty certain we could do better than that…

Could you beat Audi?

Can you contact me?

I’m making a decision soon!

Yes, sent you a PM.

Responded!

MF: 0026

they gave tax credit.

$850/month
$3,850 due at signing
12k miles
42 months
52% residual (i believe)

This or a used X5 for roughly same monthly? (would be like $50 cheaper)

AudiCare would alleviate that and bump up the residual value of the car at the same time.
